The Arno is a river in the Tuscany region of Italy. It is the most important river of central Italy after the Tiber.
THe Royal Palace of Leh surrounded by the soft clouds of the Ladakh Skies, an image I will never forget!
Saturday came up with typical Autumn weather, temperatures are now just about ten degrees, nature has already dressed in colours of the season. On the hill you can see the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument getting a fresh up. We used the day for an extended hiking trip on the hill and around the banks of the river. Ostwestfalen, Germany

En la loma de Retortillo, a unos 900 metros de altitud, en un emplazamiento privilegiado desde el que se domina todo el Valle de Campóo, la cabecera del Besaya y el Embalse del Ebro, se localiza una pequeña iglesia románica del siglo XII.

The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.

This is a test shot taken while setting up some lighting in the Alabama Hills. I wasn't finished setting up the shot yet. To learn the effects of lighting I have started making a habit of adding one light at a time and take a test shot because sometimes the second light cancels out some of the shadowing from first light so I adjusted the brightness to a point that I don't lose the benefit of the first light. Notice how the light from the single panel to the left has really pulled the texture out under the arch via shadowing.
I really liked the way this looked with the first panel under the arch and a flashlight off in the distance like a twinkle in the eye silhouetted skyline and Venus up in the sky.

A natural spectacle that can be seen only once. I was at the right time in the right place.
The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. When I spent a few days there earlier this month, I didn't see the sun for most of that time. In fact, it was raining most of the time, and the wind was quite fierce. I was lucky that on the morning we had to go back to Melbourne, the sun came through and I got a chance to get a more interesting shot of these rocks.
Los restos de la iglesia de Santa Eulalia se alzan sobre el noble pueblo de Palenzuela demostrando, al tiempo, que siguen presentes en la memoria de sus gentes, a pesar del irremediable paso de cientos de años.
Piedra sobre piedra, mantiene en pie el orgullo que nunca debió perder, hermosÃsima hubo de ser... cuan aún sus restos asà lo delatan.
