Another view of my red Dahlia with the Katydid green leaf insect having a nice feed.
New South Wales Australia
This was one of the shots I was looking for. During a summer night while I was looking for a nice spot to frame the Milky Way, a huge thunderstorm over the plains ruined the purpose. So, what to do, just expose long, wait and hope, and the night, wasn't ruined at all.
My First night at Zion.
Everything we are and everything in the universe and on Earth originated from stardust, and it continually floats through us even today. It directly connects us to the universe, rebuilding our bodies over and over again during our lifetimes.
This was shot along the watchman Trail, My original Plan was to shoot the MW on the other side of the Watchman formation, but I was running late and had to stop here and shoot. If I waited any longer I would lose the core off the right side of the composition, so when I saw this fence I knew that would help with the layering in the scene. I tried to get some light on the fence coming in from the left but not draw the eye away from the Milky Way and hoping to keep the brightness visible in the galactic core, so this time I had a couple of subway napkins over the front of my light panel to dim down the foreground(a tip I learned from Wayne) and somewhat layer the scene if you will. :)

Kaiser Wilhelm monument in Autumn. October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.
Corby Rose Garden was originally owned by a prominent business man named Henry Corby who moved to Belleville from England in 1832.
Over the years Mr. Corby and his family had been instrumental in encouraging and assisting Belleville in its growth as a community. A neighboring town that housed the family distillery was named Corbyville in his honor.
Corby Park, as it was titled, was donated to the city of Belleville in 1905.

The Klaussee at 2162 m altitude is not only one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Durreck group in the Aurina Valley, from here you have also an excellent view of the Zillertal summit.

Okok, I admit it. Once I'd like to play with one of my photos, this is Bodie, a ghost town of gold miners in California. I worked the photo to obtain the "old wild west" flavour. Just missing Billy the Kid in the frame and the image is complete, but the man on the right with his shadow looks like a gunslinger ready for a duel.
A mix of cold, light hoarfrost and fog lay over the landscape near my place of residence during the sunset.

This Winter has been very mild but finally polar air has reached Northwest Germany. After a great sunset yesterday the temperature dropped to -9 C last night. But it looks as if the frosty period will not survive the weekend.

Muchas gracias a tod@s!!
Thanks a lot for all :D

Countryside between Meppel and Hoogeveen in the Province Drenthe on a January morning. The Netherlands.
Every time I'm close to the entrance of the Antelope Canyon it is the same thrill; all my thoughts are all about how to shot it this time, where to focus, what light condition I'll find, how much crowd, how many ISO, freehand on my legs or lean to something or bring the tripod. The camera is set to manual, the lens is my trustworthy Nikon 16-35. Now it is the time to go inside and another challenge against the time will begin.. One day I hope to be famous enough to have all the time of this world to shoot inside it, meanwhile here's another HDR result.
