iPod touch 3G home screen. Last screenshot before wiping it clean and starting fresh. All those apps, tweaks, and Cydia stuff were bogging down the iPod.

We are along the East Broad Top for it's annual rail fan weekend in October of 2001. This shot of the last train of the "day" as it heads north was an attempt to recreate a shot in color that I took in as a pan shot with higher speed B&W seven years earlier.
That can be seen here:
Not setting the world on fire, it did not come out anywhere near my satisfaction of the original due to the slower speed film, but with the magic of today's "dark room" I was able to make it into something of interest, at least to me anyway.
Yes she was really touching up but when she saw that I was taking a picture, she looked straight at me!

Earth Designs Garden Design and Build were asked to created a landscape and propose garden design in Stratford, London*. Here are the details of the project
Round Paving Garden in Stratford, London E15 2BU
Solution:The design uses a simple circular theme, creating several focal areas to make the most of the limited space. The main area of the garden will feature three paved circles, all in Haworth Moor Natural Sandstone. The first will be a three ring circle, creating a solid paved area suitable for dining and entertaining. The remaining two circles will consist of an outer ring of Haworth Moor paving, within which turf will be laid to create an informal and decorative effect.
The area directly outside the house will be laid with Haworth Moor Natural Sandstone paving in a random pattern, giving a larger hard area for dining and the display of ornamentation and potted plants.
The planting scheme is designed to blur the boundaries somewhat, helping to create an illusion of space. Planting will take the form of evergreen shrubbery and flowering perennials in a variety of colours, with a young Cherry Blossom taking centre stage in the right hand corner of the space.
The existing slabs will be cleaned and used to pave the area at the bottom of the garden. This area will be screened from the garden proper with trellis, and can be used as a utility area in which to house the existing shed.
