at first i didn't see the hand. i think i know what her name is. i'll tell you in a minute. this is one of those "ain't life grand" kind of photos.

The challenge today is hand! I was looking through the submissions and was inspired by Krista's muddy hands photo so I pulled out the paint and colored my son's hand with paint, when that wasn't working for some reason I added an egg to the mix. What I ended up with was a colorful mess that didn't work. I ended up photographing my hand, paint smears and all.

I was rather annoyed yesterday that the 2-day priority mail had already stretched into 3, but since they arrived today on my birthday it was absolutely perfect timing!!
Final touches to these two machines.
The Mac Mini (2011 model, Core i5, Intel 320 160gb SSD + Toshiba 5400rpm 500gb spinner) gets a Kingston Hyper-X DDR3 1600 16gb RAM kit and the 8gb Crucial DDR3 kit that it had been previously upgraded to goes into my Core i3 Intel NUC.
