No one is saying that shooting at dusk or dawn doesn’t offer the best light, but at the same time, looking for scenes that might work in the middle of the day is also a good idea. We would have this harsh shadow touching the river if we would have shot this image at sunset/sunrise. Always be prepared for opportunities.

Hope you like it, enjoy!

D'après diapositive. Dans les Hautes-Pyrénées un rayon de soleil sur un terrain ayant subit un écobuage.

Back from my trip! Oh man, I lost at least an inch off the soles of my feet! Everything's so stinkin big it looks like it's only a block away - trust me it's not! I've always considered myself 'a walker'. I have had to re-think my position on that. Another thing I learned was that lenses are heavy. I totally thought people who talked about the weight of this or that lens as a buying factor were complete whiners. Uhmmm...I've had to rethink my position on that as well. I've heard that to become an artist you must suffer - believe me, I suffered in the taking of these shots, so if that's a qualifier I'm there!

Damn! Is that sky insane or what!

BOEING 777 ---JAPAN AIRLINES---

Located : Osaka International Airport.

I’m not sure why the Prudential Building was lit green last evening, but I’m sure a quick Google search would explain it. Whether it was for holiday colors or another reason, it remains one of my favorite buildings in the city. Ok, googled it. The buliding was green to promote Gastro-Paresis Awareness Community

Silky soft satin feels so wonderfully smooth. I just cannot resist touching my nightie all the time.

One of the most beautiful words is touch; it exquisitely represents our need to prove ourselves that we are not in a dream!

touching the dream I see before me will she disappear into thin air or will she still be there when our fingers touch?

Interesting creatures. Especially when you over-process the saturation and color - for Sliders Sunday.

Passed this building several times going to and from the recent Paisley Book Festival, and it caught my eye as while we have some amazing architecture in Scotland, old and new, we don't have many that have Art Deco touches.

As soon as I saw this I realised it was a bit different from the many other handsome stone buildings we have from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras, the sculptural syle and the windows said 1920s to me, and right enough when I checked it was completed in 1927.

Miss Agnes Russell had the building conceived and gifted to the town in memory of her late brothers, Robert and Thomas. The architects were local firm, Abercombie and Maitland, with the sculptural designs by Archibald Dawson.

Most days I was there it was raining heavily, and of course the only dry day I passed by I didn't have the camera with me, so I took a few quick snaps with the phone.
