A flier posted on a Facebook page dedicated to finding Aisha Khan, a 19-year-old Johnson County Community College student who disappeared from the Kansas University Edwards Campus.
Eight years, one month, and twelve days. Finally, Sydney's first tooth is out. And it had to be extracted. It was loose for a while and the gums around it were starting to get infected, so the dentist pulled it out.
My wife finished her work but can’t find out where the missing glove could be. Turned out the puppy next door knew the answer. The glove is now an orphan.
This trip in china was short and due to health reasons I was very limited to travel eve though I did alot of flying for work. I will be back in 5 months and hope to do more travel.
The man in the wellies came back from surfing, and he was whistling his dog all the time he got changed. Fifteen minutes later and still no dog.
We were just about to leave when a dark spec appeared on a hilltop, hurtled down the steep slope, swam the river, and shook itself dry. The dog then went to the car park and got in the back of the man's van. I do like a happy ending.
A switch panel found inside the kitchen of the Buckner Building. It would appear that an electrician is needed to make this work again.
--A bit of building info--
Once the largest building in Alaska, it was built by the military to house nearly every resident of the port town of Whittier, Alaska. It was designed to be a "city under one roof" and includes everything a "normal" city would have; Theater, Medical Ward, Cafeteria, Staterooms, and of course a jail... The town of Whittier is built around the ice-free port that houses more boats than it does people. Boasting a population of less than 300 people, Whittier is a modern day ghost town. In 1964 a 9.2 magnitude earthquake ripped the small city apart, killing 14 people and deeming the Buckner building unsafe.
Laced with asbestos, mold, mildew and various walking hazards, the building has remained an abandoned wasteland. All 5 floors are flooded from the melting of Whittier's average 253" of snow, leaving all floors an ice skating rink in the winter. Calcium deposits hang from the ceiling in the form of stalactites, graffiti and spray paint cover most of the walls, and almost every room has been hit with some form of a bat or axe.

The "Fireball Run" (Google it. Basically a fundraiser/awareness-raiser for missing and runaway children.) made its stop in Sedalia this evening. It was a pretty big event (and I think it's still going on as I type). Lots of people, hot rods, classic cars. All of the cars participating in the "race" were largely sleek new machines, but the area historical vehicle society made an appearance too, and those caught my eye best. (I took a bunch of shots with my MX-1, too. I'll upload those later...)

I was going to do a poutyface shot about the fact that I have not had a weekend to relax in well, since before last weekend, and this weekend is going to be busy, and I hate to wish my time away but I wish it were a week from tonight right now, AND I am sad because Dave is going out of town for 4 days on Monday and I have only been away from him for a few days three times and each time SUCKED and that includes when we met in person and before I moved here, and I DID get some pics like that but then I saw this and decided to try my hand at the CWD assignment, Digital Art.
My name is Tara, I like long walks on the beach, making out with my boyfriend, and run-on sentences.
St Peter and St Paul, West Mersea, Mersea Island, Essex
From Colchester I cycled eleven miles and across the Strood causeway onto Mersea Island. The town is West Mersea, a typical Essex seaside town.
Open. Very attractive, and quite different to its neighbour, with lots of red brick and flint. Inside is very urban, entirely renewed, but with a number of medieval survivals. This was obvious very High Church in its day, and still feels well-used and looked after. The altar rails from Semer workhouse now serve as a kind of chancel screen. Pleasant though not exciting.
Lost amongst a cluster of abandoned and tumbledown buildings next to the river Humber, Hull, is Riverside Photographic Studios, empty and derelict. Parts of the roof is missing, and upstairs the floors are rotting and dangerous. Amongst the collapsed ceilings and peeling paint are the remnant of a place that would once have been an impressive building. The last owners Anthony David Baines and family now operate a photography business in nearby Beverley.
Benoa Harbor Bali is used for commercial fishing and is not a place visited by tourists but it'swell worth an hour or two just to wonder round.

Lots of people think that social network users are a bunch of nerds—i.e. that they spend the whole day in front of the computer and have no “normal” contacts in so-called real life. Others complain that they don’t want to be accessible on a 24/7 basis. That this constant connectivity via “internet-to-go” also has its positive sides is impressively demonstrated by the urban game Missing Character. With the help of social networks, you—together with the Social Media Guides (AT)—declare all of Linz your analog and digital playing field. So grab your smartphone and head out on a thrilling search for the Missing Character. Indeed, the very first big mystery is: is this character a person or a letter of the alphabet? Over the course of this adventure, you’ll discover how the virtual world is connected to the real one!
