El canal de Castilla recorre parte de las provincias de Burgos, Palencia y Valladolid, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León. Fue construido para facilitar el transporte del trigo de Castilla hacia los puertos del norte. Con la llegada del ferrocarril, el transporte por el canal quedó obsoleto.
El canal discurre a lo largo de 207 kilómetros, atravesando 38 términos municipales, tiene una anchura que varía entre los 11 y 22 metros, con un desnivel de 150 metros.

Flickr Support have asked me to leave my photograph up if it does not appear in your 'update feed' and start generating views as I would normally expect. This is so that their engineers can try to get to the bottom of the issue that continues to plague my account.
My ongoing and intermittent issue is that of my photos not appearing in your activity feeds for a long period of time before suddenly doing so. This "lag" is currently being investigated.
As a result this image may have fewer views and favourites than would be expected for a time.
Are you ready? If everything goes as planed tomorrow morning we should be able to see some sun! Fingers crossed! So in all that excitement while making plans for tomorrow I forgot to mention the polar vortex birthday :) This is from one of those cold colorful mornings back in January 2019. What do you think?
