Paper collage for Anatomical Heart trade at ATCsforall.com. There is a lot of shiny gold paper in the background that didn't scan very bright. Lots of layers of tissue paper and some lacy white paper (washi?) Sharpie poster paint pen, tiny metal heart brad, ink and some rub on words.

La Part-Dieu - Lyon

Part of a group of 3 male deers that went out of the forest at dusk, in the field behind the chalet where I stayed with some friends.

Judging from its antlers, this male is about three years old. Out of breeding period, young males (2 to 5 years old) deers tend to gather and live in small groups, while older males prefer to stay alone .. maybe younger animals, less skilled to detect threats using their own senses, rely on their fellows to compensate for their own inexperience ?

Anyway, with a friend we tried to get closer to get best shots, but even progressing hidden from their sight they ran away before we could have the possibility for any new attempt ..

So what I wanted to do for this photo was a storyline. This photoshoot was inspired by Miss @beyonce !! The story consist of a very toxic marriage. Kilani has been doing chores and basically serving her husband for a long time and she has came to a conclusion this love wasn’t real. Her husband only loved her as his servant. So she obviously had a breakdown. She was furious the more she realized it. She took her pain and frustration out on the task presented in the photo. She was so furious she ironed his clothing on the highest heat setting. She burnt the food intentionally and served it to him. After the argument they had because of the food she went outside and sprayed bleach on the plants killing them symbolizing how she killed off this negative marriage. I worked rlly hard on all these photos and put so much effort so lets I hope I receive fco ladies!!

Part 7: Back Down

Instead of retracing my steps I looked for a more direct route down and found one. Carefully I made my way down over steep slabs and and crevasses of loose rocks, down and down. Soon I reached more gentle terrain, but soon after I reached a high cliff. Here I stopped to survey the the area and I began to think that I may be stuck because what I had just come down, in places, was too steep to go back up safely. However I decided to turn to the north and see if I could make my way over to where I had come up. That decision turn out to be a good one because I found a way around the cliffs.

Soon I found the cairns I had made on the way up to help me easily navigate a steep talus field on the return journey. Once that obstacle was behind me the mountainside relaxed and the climb became more gradual. It wasn't long before I reached the meadows where my favorite tarn lay and I was finally off the mountain. Here I found a beautiful spot of crystal clear water to soak my tired feet.

When I returned back to camp Jan's smiling face was there waiting for me.

I decided I did not want to do that climb again by headlamp and that the photo I had gotten at the glacier would be good enough. Starting and ending at the tarn it took me 4 hours to go up, and 45 minutes to come down.
