So I just watched the big Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover and I’m trying to catch up and it was AWESOME!
The fan service and the references and the writing and AH it was so good!
This is based on their “Super Friends” table and stuff
From L-R:
Sara Lance / White Canary - Hair from the S9 CMF Mermaid, head from Wonder Woman, torso from some version of Padme. Sara was mostly a filler, there’s going to be a better one in the future
Black Lightning - Hair and head from CA:CW Falcon, torso from Black Vulcan from the TLBM CMF, legs from the Bounty Hunter in the S19 CMF
Flash - .... (Upgrades coming)
Superman - yeah still can’t say much. Legs from the new Spider-Man
Batwoman - Old Catwoman head (I sharpied around the eyes), custom black/red cape
Supergirl - Agent 13 hair, Spider-Man legs, TLBM utility belt
Martian Manhunter (probably my favorite of the collection) - newer Ant-Man torso, I think that black, dark grey, and dark blue arms are interchangeable for him. I liked dark blue more, I just really don’t want to take the photo again
Then in the back: Green Arrow - Doctor Doom hood, Vulture torso
So yeah, I hope that you guys enjoyed the crossover event as much as I did!
When planning the Rumbled in the Legañan Jungle MOC, I knew it would take up a lot of space. This was a problem as our spare room doubles as our guest room, and since over the Christmas period I knew we had guests staying, I had to create a modular MOC so I could transport it to our bedroom when guests were staying.
These photos show a breakdown of the 5-parts which made up the MOC. The sides with the technic connections are shown facing the camera.

-- So let's hear it, dollface
~ Stop flicking your cigarette ashes on my floor, you animal.
-- Sorry doll, murder always makes me forget my manners.
~ I didn't kill him.
-- You don't seem too broken up about it.
~ I'm glad he's dead. I hated him, he was a lousy, no good, bastard. He told me so himself when I met him...I didn't believe him. I hated him, but I didn't kill him. It's not a crime to hate someone is it?
-- No, it's not a crime to hate but it never comes to any good that I can see. If you didn't pull the trigger, I'm sure you have an idea who did. I know a cozy table for two. Let's go downtown and compare notes.
~ Are you arresting me?
-- No, you're not under arrest...yet. Let's call it a first date, ok doll.
to be continued...
This is part 3 of series inspired the classic hard boiled detective novel. The type written by Dashiell Hammett who wrote The Maltese Falcon and Raymond Chandler who wrote the Big Sleep.
For our daily challenge - stain
Like the previous two shots this is lit with a fresnel light to the right and a white reflector to the left.
I brought it a bit closer to make it harsher and raised it for the higher camera angle.

Just got back from Ireland, which is what we always do during Christmas vacation and summer, because most of my family is from there. I've been going here since I was born, and it feels like my true home. When I am here, I am happier and more inspired than I ever am anywhere else. It's about toast, and rainy days, and constant television or radio, and smoky smelling air, and chocolate ready-brek. My family runs a pub here, and it's always fun to people watch.
This a very special little girl who I met at the bar today. She has had a very interesting life so far and is only nine years old. I asked if I could take her photograph. It took some convincing as she doesn't think she's pretty enough for photos (her foster parents had told her this), but by the end we were good friends, and hopefully we'll be taking loads of pictures together soon. Her grandparents look after her now, and they come down to the bar quite a bit over the holidays.

I'm quite excited to use this, as the normal versions only came in a few drab colors.
I spent some time camped in Atlin, British Columbia this past weekend. It is beyond a doubt, my favourite town. There is so much to love about Atlin from its slow pace of life, to it’s people, to the character of its gold rush era architecture, to the natural beauty that surrounds it.
With so many great attributes, any visit to Atlin is also an opportunity to take loads of photos. Some of the buildings have so much character that I have photographed them many times and yet it seems like I always find a new element or aspect that pushes me to take one more picture.
This building is a perfect example of why I keep revisiting the same sites. In this case, a beautifully warm golden hour light had lit up the structure, and I snapped another photo. Well, that was on this past weekend, and I am so glad that I stopped the truck got out and took the time to take the shot. Five days later, this building, and the General Store next door are both gone. From what I’ve read, it looks like a fire broke out in the General Store. The old dry wood that comprised the building must have caught easily and burned rapidly, quickly engulfing the building. I am sure the volunteer fire department did all they could, and they did a great job preventing the fire from spreading to other old wooden structures all around, but for this shed and the General Store, all that remains now are memories, and the photos that people have taken. There is a newspaper story about the loss, here: www.yukon-news.com/news/atlin-general-store-destroyed-by-...

HATE YOU VIEWRS
Here is another shot that I captured, this male buck was on watch while the rest of the Mob were eating.
Almost. Not too many of these around anymore but newer versions are still made.

Oh, oh, you don't get me, I'm part of the union
You don't get me, I'm part of the union
You don't get me, I'm part of the union
Until the day I die, until the day I die
Part of the Union
Song by Strawbs

~
The song (especially its chorus "You don't get me I'm part of the Union") quickly became popular as an unofficial anthem of the trade union movement. Subsequently, the Strawbs have confirmed that the song was written with genuine celebratory intent, in support of the unions.
~
in modern times - or as a theme to steampunk noir themes it is a metaphor for so much more.
~
this piece is as much a metaphor for todays world of political construction as a reflection on long gone good old trade unions.
