Not the best time of year to visit the Fairy Pools. This reflection was the best light I could get on any of my shots. The majority of the shots including the usual vista were rather flat as everything was in shadows all day.
What speaks most against visiting these pools during that time of year was the way there. I was more lucky than anything else that I didn't end up off the road as others I passed. The passing places were so deep in snow that you just had to push through at speed and hope for the best. Esprecially you had to hope that you encountered other cars only at a passing place when heading up.
The crowd at the corner of Beijing Road (北京路) and Sichuan Road (四川路) - all coming back from the Bund. That tank truck is plain stuck between all the pedestrians.

A classic shot of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, but had to get up early on Christmas morning when all those good little girls and boys were sleeping in order to capture a clean blue hour image without the tourists and vehicle traffic. Fortunately the Christmas lights were still on at 07:25 in the morning. Hope everyone had a good Christmas or Hanukkah. :-)
Start of an Autumn glow.
Peace and tranquillity found in the late afternoon sunshine by the river. A quiet time just sitting and watching as the sun came streaming through the leaves and the rich golden tones reflected across the water.
Realising that Summer will be but a memory soon and Autumn is knocking on the door in Middle England...but oh what a show of colour to look forward too :)
Hubby was fly fishing so I took the time to just meander along and explore the river. As they say...it's the simple things in life that bring joy! :)

Where tripod was forbidden, I have to dig deeper to the last bit of this thing called ingenuity. I hated them for the 60 USD (5800 yen) toll and having my tripod deposited in a safety depo box.
Will the seven dwarfs take this photo to Explore? Hahaha. Guess not.

Traditional house in Reine. Reine is a fishing village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Moskenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago, above the Arctic Circle, about 300 kilometres southwest of the town of Tromsø.
