*Gemeiner Bläuling an Pusteblume*
The day before last evening in a sheltered spot when this little butterfly didn't move for 2 seconds. Unfortunately, this blue was the only butterfly out there, as so often lately... what's the reason???

On the path from le Plan de l'Aiguille to Montenvers, there is a bifurcation to the right leading to le Signal Forbes, which offers an exceptional point of view on la Mer de Glace. Here, this view has been captured on the way down from le Signal Forbes to Montenvers. More at www.flickr.com/photos/132192297@N04/albums/72157653597089933.

"The Stellisee (2,537 m) is among the most famous of Zermatt’s lakes. The sight of the Matterhorn reflected on its mirror-like surface is breathtakingly beautiful, and is made for magnificent photographs."
Thank You for your inspiration, take care and keep on doing ...( Please ) !
Warm greetings / Zak.

I spent two days in Heather Meadows enjoying fall colors in North Cascades. The first morning was amazing. Before the sun came up from behind the mountains the sky was so colorful. With the sun everything turned into golden yellow.

Lake Nahuel Huapi is immersed within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, which is the oldest of the Argentine national parks.
It was created by the Argentine government in 1934, on the base of the donation of 3 square leagues (7,000 ha) carried out by Francisco Pascasio Moreno for this purpose.
The park covers 717,261 ha, in a strip of about 60 km wide for about 170 km from north to south, lying on the Andes mountain range. The Nahuel Huapi National Park is internationally famous for its attractive photography. It is located between the altitudes of 700 masl and 3400 masl, it stands out for its representative ecosystems of the Patagonian Andes, inhabiting more than a thousand higher botanical species, and some 300 species of vertebrate animals.
Getting to know Victoria Island and witnessing the spectacle of the Bosque de Arrayanes is a pleasure that has been experienced by millions of visitors to this National Park but still awaits, with its intact navigation conditions, the next tourists who, like us, arrive to visit them.

Went wondering around the countryside looking for some autumn colors south of Stuttgart today. Happened to find a good location on the south side of the Hohenzollern Castle this time. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! :-)

Although it was cloudy on the morning I visited Moraine Lake, I was still able to see why it's so popular - it's just a stunning location.
I might have enjoyed it even further if I'd take the path around the back of the rock wall at the base of the lake, instead of climbing it from the front!!

One more image from a cold, windy visit to Kits Beach. This one is looking to the left of the other image I posted several days ago, The Winds of Change. Here you can see West Vancouver across the water, and also going out to English Bay, the Burrard Inlet and then the open ocean.
