3.9.22 Sculpt update on the Mon Calamari Bounty Hunter (no name) from Star Wars Galaxies.
Inspired by the concept artwork from the role-playing game, this Mon Calamari Bounty Hunter custom was a figure that was to begin a series of customs based on game and movie concepts ONLY. Several years later, I want to rejuvenate that idea once again beginning with this Mon Cal hunter.
These are new shots of the sculpt that I shelved back in 2014. Time has eluded me as I feel it was only yesterday when I decided to shelve this project and return to it later…well, later became almost a decade! LOL!
Some of the sculpts frame will need some updating. I’d like the figure to have ball-jointed hips for added articulation and some of the epoxy application needs a little TLC (I was a little sloppy back then). One thing that won’t change is that head sculpt – I love that sculpt! I plan on other Mon Cal figures using that similar head with slight mods when needed.
So here goes the first of several concept figures that I hope to begin work on later in the year or going into 2023. You gotta plan ahead right? LOL! Who knows what might happen in the future but I like to have some ideas ready in the wings as far as this hobby goes. I still have an Alien project waiting for my attention. Just give me some time as I’ve enjoyed a break from the acid blood and dark shadows LOL! I’ll get back to that again soon.
