Macro Mondays theme: Handle with Care.

Here we have a very small snail on a lavender plant, taken using my 30mm Sony f2.8 macro lens.

The size of the snail is a about the size of an average adult small fingernail as can be seen here against the fur of the lavender plant.

Always loved Strathaven's Miniature Railway. My Dad took me here when I was probably 9 before we moved to Strathaven. When we moved in to our house in the summer of 1968 the first place I went to was the park & met me some new friends. Its a great place to live & I've been here ever since. Was passing on a lunchtime walk a few days ago & the guys were getting ready to open on the 2nd of April. They were happy for me to take a few photos which was great. Our big railway had gone by the time I got to Strathaven a casualty of the Beaching cuts. Our big railway was featured on Michael Portillo's "Great British Railway Journeys" it must have been a spectacular journey from Hamilton through the Avon Valley gorges (stopping at Larkhall & Stonehouse) & over the big viaducts. It's just a pity he didn't visit the miniature railway while he was in Town.www.flickr.com/groups/bnpassion/pool//

Dan, the Lilliputian strong man has been tricked by his friends, he happily volunteered to restock the bar with soft drinks but little did he know that the cans belonged to Lemuel Gulliver! He stands at one and a quarter inches and the cans are nearly half his height.

I love to build and create something reminding of the "real world". This is a part of my Café area from my super miniature house.

Happy LCOF!
