Sculpt progress on the "Egg Morpher" Xenomorph - Alien: Defiance (Dark Horse Comics) - 1:18 scale.
Another set of images showing progression. The last image is the latest (late last night). Sculpting with Aves FIXIT.
Two things I plan to change - the ribbing just below the carapace needs to be thinned out, and the vertebral segments at the back of the head needs to have a higher arc.
The creature is unexplained..which is intriguing to me because I don't need to know a reason for it's existence.
