sfhfc: Today, Thursday 27th October is the Cats Protection Black Cat Awareness Day.

 

This highlights the problem that black cats are often overlooked by would-be adopters and many of them remain in care for longer than other cats. Visit the CP website www.cats.org.uk for more info and find out how you can help today by posting pictures of your black cats to Facebook, Twitter or Flickr.

 

In honour of this I thought it would be nice to share our black beauties with you.

sfhfc: @carligirl I know what you mean, but within charities it has always seemed to be a problem. Tabbies are very popular. At least we can try to help awareness of this issue
