Rotunda | The Tribunal

My new photo project is now live at philipus.com | The Tribunal. Warm welcome to have a look. I will present and comment on a selection of the images here as well as at my instagram below.

 

This is the rotunda in the lobby on Churchillplein 1 in The Hague, which housed the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) 1993-2017. Through this space one accessed Courtroom 1 and Courtroom 3. The public gallery of Courtroom 1 is behind the brown wall that can be seen across the rotunda. The building is today used by the successor organisation the IRMCT. Courtroom 3 does not exist any longer, but has been turned into meeting rooms.
