The North Sea Canal (Dutch: Noordzeekanaal) is a Dutch Ship Canal, long 25 km, from Amsterdam to the North Sea at IJmuiden, constructed between 1865 and 1876 to enable seafaring Vessels to reach the Port of Amsterdam. This Man-Made Channel terminates at Amsterdam in the closed-off IJ Bay, which in turn connects to the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal.

A display like the one shown here did attract attention in these times of C19 ;-). It is an element of a faithful reconstruction of a 50s local healthcare unit (Witte / Groene Kruis).

Last night we had a "blast". I so much enjoyed the company of some new friends. The weather was great, we even had a beautiful sunset, but what I liked the most was the lightpainting. It felt like outdoor games for adults. I did not want to stop. To me this is my coolest selfie ever.

Europe, The Netherlands, Gelderland, Achterhoek, Vorden, Landgoed De Wiersse (uncut)
The 'De Wiersse ’estate knows two parts. The formal garden as mentioned and shown in one of the previous posts and the less cultured but exciting forest part of the estate, which is pictured here.
Captured with the LX7 in auto HDR mode (three frames are taken in rapid succession and merged in-camera).
This is number 23 of the 'Naar het Oosten' album here.
