Resurrection Project: 35mm Film images

Breathing new life into old, or forgotten photos can be a real challenge...it is like raisin g the dea. You hope for the best but you HAVE to have faith first. These images were all originally captured on film, specifically....emulsion based photographic film ( colour and black & white, and occasionally monochrome) The images have been put away in storage for a few years, now that I shoot totally with digital. After a talk I heard about black and white photography, I have been inspired to breathe new life into these forgotten photos by having the negatives or prints scanned and converting the images into digital format. I then put each image through an editing and correction process in photoshop to make them the best they can be without damaging the "grainy" textured appearance and gritty feel of the images that makes film lovers so nostalgic. This is an experiment, nothing more. I am not trying to prove anything. We will see what happens.
