The Mill Race at Broomfield

The old watermill is gone, but the mill channel, race and sluicegate are still there as a "waterfall" where the old mill wheel used to catch the falling water in its trays and turn. it now rushes beneath a footbridge and out into the millpond. The placid water in the channel quickly changes as it approaches the bridge and millpond.
