- the star of the day on May the 4th, got up close and personal, making it all even more meaningful... R2D2 walked into office for the board room to join in the event... just exactly like the movie, he walked around in the office himself and communicating in his usual R2D2 languages... I was laughing hard when he had to reverse himself a few times just to enter through the glass doors for board room. Someone yelled out to imply R2D2 needs to slim down, but no fear it was all R2D2 own efforts and he got through and walked into the room himself hor... no remote control... he was amazing and amazed me and all there. He has very very good sensors I think... he was joined by the 501st Legion Singapore Garrison for a lot of pictures... R2D2 was pretty excited with his beeping-brrring sounds and turning around his head just like in the movies exactly... I was definitely overwhelmed by his overwhelming stage presence, and very obliging and patient with his fans' requests.
