The thing with Singapore is it is humid, and I always forget to air my lens when I go out, so for the first 15min, the front glass is constantly fogged up. I used this to my advantage and let the mist create a moody pop atmosphere in this psychedelic view I had from behind my hotel. Welcome to Singapore!

I took cupcake/susu/xena's suicide girls set shots. It was a beautiful set called "I can has" (lulz), unfortunately it was rejected for stupid reasons so we're going to do a retake sometime in the near future I hope!

Urbex ✧ Orfanotrofio SG
Cet orphelinat abandonné, je l'avais repéré il y a un moment. Il est l'exemple même de la "procrastination heureuse" !
J'ai souvent eu l'occasion de passer devant. En disant toujours "Je n'ai pas le temps de m'arrêter aujourd'hui... C'est pas grave, ce sera pour la prochaine fois."
Et la prochaine fois, suivie de la prochaine fois, et de la prochaine fois... ce manège a duré près de dix ans !
À vrai dire, je ne le voyais même plus : je ne l'avais pas oublié mais il faisait presque partie des meubles.
Et finalement, j'ai pris le temps de m'arrêter et de l'explorer.
J'ai été surprise de découvrir qu'il avait étonnamment peu souffert du vandalisme, malgré toutes ces années d'un abandon bien connu dans la région.
Et surtout, j'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir que la végétation avait commencé à reprendre ses droits... elle était certainement bien plus timide il y a dix ans, et clairement, cette pièce devait avoir bien moins de charme !
Comme quoi, il ne faut pas toujours écouter ce que l'on nous dit : remettre à demain ce que l'on peut faire le jour même peut aussi avoir du bon ! 😁
