A firetruck in Goffs, CA, bringin' some of the heat to this cold winter evening. I used some long exposure light painting techniques to capture this firetruck. This is located at the Mojave Desert Heritage and Cultural Association on Route 66 in the Eastern Mojave Desert. The yellow color of the truck pops against the dark sky, and the details of the vehicle are illuminated in a unique way. Interesting mixed lighting with the BNSF railroad in back too. This truck might be ready for active duty again someday, ready to fight fires at a moment's notice! Stay tuned for some future night photography retreats and star parties at Goffs. (Plate 3652)
