Horsethief Lake, Washington, July 2020

This is one of my favorite areas in the country. It’s along the Columbia River in Klickitat County in Southern Washington. It’s in the rainshadow created by the Cascade Mountains, and has a semi-arid climate. It’s beautiful, rugged, and stark.
