Robert Emmerich - 35 NLE Long exposure Potsdamer Platz at Night in Berlin - Germany
Potsdamer Platz at Night (1 of 5) aka Release 35 for my NLE (night and long exposure) project. Since I moved to the middl of Berlin I always liked to do a series of long exposures that show the translation from the blue hour to bitch black dark with some starts and even the moon direkt in the middle of the City. So this place (the Potsdamer Platz) was just perfect since you get all the cars and that nice architecture with very high buildings all around. So finally I found some time to take a set of shot over a view hours and finally process then. The first release just startet at the blue hour at this point all street lights where still out but all cars switched on there lights already. Every release of this series is based on around 4-9 different exposures that I blended together in Photoshop, processed as HDR shots in Lightroom and shot with my Canon EOS 40D.
