A Forster's Tern takes a dive for a fish. It emerges from the water, and just like a faithful puppy, shake off any excess water. The only difference is that the tern does this while flying. I am always amazed at the ability of this bird to twist its body, like a contortionist in a circus, while still managing to stay aloft. No matter where I see them, terns manage to get my attention. Despite a certain predictability, they are a challenge to photograph.
