Shifting Gears
To a Mexican lifestyle. For us it’s simpler: less government interference; lower taxes; we walk every day to shop for food, wine, and Tequila; lower cost-of-living. It’s friendlier: especially if we try our best to speak Spanish; eat at the taco stands; and shop at the local markets. Warmer is enticing: no shovelling snow; no long-johns or heavy winter jackets; fewer, lighter clothes; walks along the beach; swim in the ocean. Retirement is imminent, eventually no more engineering, I can focus on my photography career, maybe open a bricks-and-mortar gallery, escape from the hypocrisy of useless social media. #consumption #abstractphotography #fineartphotography #pandamnit #lockdown
