Nothing lasts..especially with global warming and pollution for consumption. My geographic and technological range of pics is very limited

Cerbera (Cerbera manghas) is an associate mangrove that grows on land behind the mangroves. The fruit that appears in autumn looks similar to a mango. It has a strong, pliable tissue layer that is buoyant, allowing the ripe fruit stay afloat after falling into the sea to aid propagation.

Don't be misled by the beauty of Cerbera. The entire plant is poisonous and consumption may prove lethal. The white tree juice may cause allergic skin reaction and even blindness.

Let's see....we're still in the depths of the depression, so let's remind those poor hoi poloi selling pencils or apples how much above them we are......so let's gold plate the mascot on our Cad V-16 Limo, so there is NO DOUBT we are not like them.........besides it makes it easier for the chauffeur to pick out our limo among all the others at the club.....

This Wolseley had a 1498cc engine capable of giving it a top speed of 76mph and going from 0-60mph in about 25 sec so it won’t win any drag competitions! Fuel consumption of about 37mpg, it cost new £758 which would be £22,650 today! A gallon of petrol then cost about 5s8d which would be the equivalent of £5 today. A gallon of petrol now costs about £6.30 so it was only a bit cheaper then.

Blue hour shot of the small hotel where I stayed overnight during my trip to Bohemia. In the same building they have their own small but awarded brewery.

Fun fact: did you know that Czech Republic is the world champion in beer consumption? Czechs drink more beer than any other nation, with an average consumption rate of 468 beers per person per year. Zdola nahoru 🍺🍻😊

"The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry published the results that showed moderate consumptions of Champagne may help the brain cope with the trauma of stroke, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's disease."

Still about eight weeks to harvest. Hazelnuts are perennial deciduous shrubs, about 2.5-3 m (8 -10 ft) in height, the nuts are grown for human consumption. To the right of the fruit, is a ladybug, just going through metamorphosis.

PLEASE: Do not post any comment graphics, they will be deleted. See info in my bio.

This is another of the 348 shots I took of this boar eating that big beautiful salmon I have posted several shots of before.

I cropped in a little closer on this one so you could see the salmon's head. Sorry if this is too graphic or unappealing to some but to me it's fascinating. Not something many people see everyday so here it is.

Doesn't mean I'm cold or don't have feelings for the salmon but this is just raw nature and the bears have to survive

No thought or opinion just fact

1935 Auburn 851 boat-tailed speedster, in not subtle YELLOW.

To emphasize the smooth transfer from the previous 5 black and red images of the Cadillac V-16 four door convertible, sharp eyed viewers will find it in the Auburn's headlight. Both cars are major conspicuous consumption during the depths of the Great Depression but thank God that this spectacular rolling art was saved and not used to make battle ships, or left to rust in some back yard.

We hoi palloi with cameras are allowed to share (but not touch) though most of us would find it difficult to pay for the paint jobs (up to and sometimes exceeding $100,000) of these beauties.

Time to rejoin the dark side, I they were missing me! After coming to the end of the forest walk right after the snow here in Storkow first arrived, I turned back around I observed the towering mass entities adjoining the dirt track I had just conquered. The slightly misted cold embrace adorned by a ground level of a twisted and gnarled reality sang to me, an exposure time of 1/30 encapsulating the now faded sunlight finalised it, then a render to monochrome and we have a spectacle of what goes so inside my mind some days.

I hope everyone is well and so as always, thank you! 😊

The Icicle 'Creek' (River depending on time of year) flows from the east side of the Cascade Crest which is the source of water in town, and many local orchards.

We're lucky, despite drought warnings, and reducing water consumption by 15%, that we have such a rich and fairly pure water source.

Out here looking like a sick Victorian woman who might not survive the winter… AND IM LOVING IT!

Week 24: Breaking the Rules

I'd say I broke the rules of proper exposue here as well as the one saying you can only use vintage lenses like this with a lens hood in direct sunlight. Perhaps also some rule on finding an interesting subject and avoiding busy looking backgrounds... who knows. I just had 2 minutes of time before I had to rush back to my kids who were already shopping, so I was only looking for color: Guess I found it!
