Cydcor provided lunch for everyone in the office from Jersey Mike’s. But this isn’t your ordinary free lunch, this one is to help Operation Gratitude! Operation Gratitude annually sends 150,000+ care packages filled with snacks, entertainment, hygiene and hand-made items, plus personal letters of appreciation to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors, Caregivers and individually-named U.S. Service Members deployed overseas. Their mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of Active Duty and Veteran communities, and to provide volunteer opportunities for all Americans to express their appreciation to members of our military. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. Jersey Mike's Subs stores across Southern California have been supporting Operation Gratitude throughout the month of March. The culmination of this amazing campaign was today-- the “Day of Giving” -- when 100% of all sales in 104 locations are being donated to the cause. This means every penny spent at a Jersey Mike's today will be donated directly to @opgratitude and that from this day alone, over 30,000 care packages will be able to be sent to our Military and First Responders.
