SPECTREMAN was a worldwide massive hit in 70s.

No wonder Imitator and bootlegged merchandise was flooded the Market.

 

This toys or art, often called knockoffs or bootlegs, are most ridiculous, absurd, ugly and hilarious to most people. But some of this weird toys/art are very creative and deserve some attention.

 

Here is a bootleg SPECTREMAN blow molded plastic toy from 70s. And our FAKE SPECTREMAN #1 was inspired by this design.

 

Before we develop FAKE SPECTREMAN as a collection. Our original idea was to remake this weird bootleg PVC Toy into Soft Vinyl Toy.

 

We are huge fan of SPECTREMAN and during our research we found the SPECTREMAN knockoffs merchandises is the most rich and diverse compare to other Tokusatsu heros. We think it will be great to see some more of them in Sofubi. And now we introduce this licensed FAKE SPECTREMAN series.

 

Our idea is this knockoffs "FAKE SPECTREMAN" was born from Nebula 71. The same home planet of SPECTREMAN. And they are "Brothers" or a "Sentai(squadron)"...... Use your imagination, playing, display our FAKE SPECTREMAN with your own original SPECTREMAN Toys. Enjoy~
