Snow Monkey

#DoodlewashJanuary2023 prompt: Monkey.

Did you know the Japanese Macaque (aka Snow Monkey) lives farther north than any other primate, except for humans?

This is a bit of a mess, especially the eyes. I used a masking fluid and paper combo that I’ve successfully used many times before. I gave it a good two hours of paint drying before trying to remove the masking fluid. The night before I had no problem whatsoever. This time it tore the heck out of the paper. Just goes to show that humidity counts and it can change on ya, fast! Still I think the painting has some good points so I’m sharing it.
