"Sometimes I Just Commit to a Crappy Idea"

 

I had the greatest idea for today's image......but it was a terrible idea. In a near panic, I found this doll and her.....friend...? In my defense, the lighting would have worked nicely with a human model.......oh..........but, maybe without her friend. There is a strip box at camera-left, and the young lady is standing near the back edge of the light. You can tell this by the location of her shadow. Because the key light is rather close to her, there was quite a bit of falloff on her left cheek. To remedy this and the darker edge of her fecal friend, I positioned a piece of foamcore, just out of frame at camera-right. One can see the reflection in the poo's left cheek. There is a second snooted strobe working on the canvas background. I'm pretty sure Vermeer would be in awe. Please feel free to comment with your own title for the portrait.
