Vista de conjunto de Poo, en el oriente de Asturias, junto a Llanes. Una tarde gris, triste, la sierra de La Cuera tiene " cerradas las cortinas ", de modo que la bruma desciende casi hasta el nivel del mar.
La ruta que conduce por la orilla del mar hasta Celorio se inicia aquí. Con varios senderos alternativos resulta cómodo y agradable pasear por ese entorno bellísimo, siempre verde y acogedor.

One of my favorite areas with great scenic views is in Southeastern Utah along I-70. It's particularly nice for me, because of the several rest areas and easy truck parking. At each stop they have placards with interesting geological and historical information. This shot was taken from a hill next to the rest area near Thompson Utah.
Oh, not really dinosaur poo. ;^)
It was a pretty dull here today. I had this idea up my sleeve for such an evening. See, you can find beauty everywhere :-)
If you're still wondering, it's an overhead view of our local waste water treatment plant.
By the time I had made a quick flit from The Old Man of Storr to the Fairy Pools on Skye, before my wife noticed what I had done, I was hoping my creative juices would be flowing.
After all the sun was illuminating the snow on the Cuillin peaks and everywhere just looked glorious.
But the Fairy Pools lay in the shadow of the mountains, and recent melted snow meant the river was flowing faster, so the waters were not lazily working their way down from one fall to another. There were no nice still pools from top to bottom, and certainly no fairies about. So as usual, everything I had planned in my mind before, went out the window, no special effects, no artistic flair, no great skill, nothing special ...all fairly poo
A sólo dos kilómetros de la turística localidad de Llanes, en el Principado de Asturias, se encuentra la pequeña parroquia de Poo de Llanes.
Estamos en el concejo de Llanes, donde el verdor de la naturaleza contrasta con el azul del Océano Atlántico. De hecho Poo cuenta con una preciosa playa, ubicada en plena Costa Verde Asturiana. Toda esta zona ha sido declarada Paisaje Protegido por su riqueza medioambiental.
La abundancia de vegetación se debe al clima oceánico local, que proporciona unas temperaturas suaves todo el año, aunque con un alto grado de humedad. (Hoteles.net)

Another shot of a brief encounter with a buzzard on the local farmers muck pile. Taken from the car window I managed a few shots before being spotted.
A daffodil growing in the garden with light coming in through the tree creating a natural black background . Other than a crop and a very minor adjustment , this shot is near enough SOOC .
And here is a first maybe , for the " Things On Flowers " group something new on a flower - bird poo and luckily most of it is hidden but just a bit to be seen on top of the trumpet part of the flower !!!

We hiked up to Poo Poo Point and watched two paragliders launch. Temperature was about 37 degrees. I was glad to return to the car on a trail.
This bear reminded me so much on Winnie the Poo.. Difficult to imagine that this is a dangerous predator! :-D

This is a foculation tank. It is used to treat poo. Basically everything on the ship is reduced, as much as possible, to constituent components and either recycled or burned. Ashes are taken ashore and carefully controlled 'sludge' (left over food courtesy of greedy fat Americans who take more than they can eat) is released into the ocean. I have been assured that the ship is very environmentally friendly.
