Heritage Hydrangea: Hydrangea paniculata ‘PINKY WINKY’ is best grown as a multi-stemmed shrub. Prune in early spring to maintain a compact shape. Inflorescence: The elongated panicles open pure white and age to purplish pink. Bred at the Research Station Melle, Belgium, in 2003, by Dr. Johan van Huylenbroeck, Director of Applied Genetics and Breeding at The Flemish Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research.
