Spirit Island

What is your favorite heavy coop game that isn't Spirit Island?

 

We have, as always, been playing a lot of Spirit Island recently! In this amazing cooperative game players are building up powerful spirits to protect their island and native inhabitants from harmful invaders. Each spirit is unique and focuses in one or more aspects of the game which leads to an incredible amount of replayablity. We have stopped playing with event cards for our last few plays. We found they extend the game a significant amount and don’t add enjoyment for us. The new expansion adds a variant which you can play with if you are not using events which allow for a bit more control over beast tokens. I got to try out Many Minds Move as One (which focuses on manipulating beast tokens) and it was so much fun setting up for some amazing turns where the beasts wreak havoc on the invaders!
