Smile on Saturday theme REFLECTIONS IN A SPOON. I have two shiny tea spoons laying on a white board. Cookie is looking down at them and is reflected in the spoons. Happy Smile on Saturday the old photographer.
There is no pier.
They look for the best place to disembark and board small boats. The smaller boats take us to the yacht, Galápagos Shark II.
We will sail to Mosquera Island between the islands, North Seymour and South Seymour (Baltra Island).
This is the culmination of the last couple of month's work on portraiture. The final brief was to put together between 8 to 12 shots of portraits taken using the light painting technique and to exhibit them on a wall.This is my effort. I was very interested in how much the eyes tell us about the person that is being photographed so I tried to find ways of excluding or shading the eyes. Poor Neil was very long suffereing!!!!
I wanted to make the exhibition board look a bit like an eye.
All the board members except one were at their post for the morning meeting of the Saint Charles Bay fishing association in Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.

Was photo shooting Crepe Myrtle along the fence when I spotted this.....

Many old farm houses like this one sit abandoned on the Canadian Prairie. When a new generation inherits the farm they usually build a new home somewhere else on the property. Or else they may simply sell it and move away from farming.
Horizontal wooden fences seem to be more popular than vertical ones these days, and I wonder why? Just style, apparently.
