Scoville

What is your favorite mechanism to determine turn order?

We got to try out Scoville for the first time recently! In this game players take on the role of pepper farmers working to provide their town with hot peppers and spicy orders! This game utilizes a fun matrix mechanism where players tend the field to cross pollinate peppers working their way up to the coveted crystal pepper. This was a very interesting mechanic that was fun to figure out how to optimize! The other thing I really enjoy in this game is the turn mechanism. You can bid to go first which means you will get to plant and fulfil orders first, but harvest last! Really makes for some fun and interesting choices when deciding what you want to bid!
