I was very happy to have this White-breasted Nuthatches visit while taking photos of other birds. Did you know this little bird joins foraging flocks led by chickadees or titmice, one because it makes food easier to find and two because more birds can keep an eye out for predators. So if you see one of these little birds in the winter months, you most likely will find some chickadees or titmice in the area.
