Orekhovsky Waterfall is the second highest waterfall in Sochi. It is located on the Bezumenka River at its confluence with the Sochi River in the Khostinsky district[1].
The name comes from the nearby farm Orekhovka. Before the October Revolution, the waterfall was called Mill.
The waterfall has two stages. The lower stage is the most visited and the most beautiful has a height of 27.5 m. The waterfall is a natural monument of national importance. An oak-chestnut forest grows around the waterfall, there is an evergreen boxwood, a Pontic rhododendron, a walnut grove nearby.[2]
