India Rose Makes Some Feathered Friends At The Bird Sanctuary

We took a trip to the Seaside Bird Sanctuary, in Indian Shores. India Rose had a blast making some new feathered friends. The sanctuary is a non-profit organisation, run entirely on donations by the public, it receives no government assistance. The staff are a mix of experienced professionals and dedicated volunteers. The birds here are all rescue animals that are recovering from illness or injury, or orphaned in the wild. Birds that cannot be released back into the wild become permanent residents or are transferred to permanent homes. India's favorites were the owls and the white pelicans. Mama and daddy had a soft spot for a parrot named Nemo! We loved them all, large or small.
