Tangled Leaves
This is a set of three panels of ANTIQUE Japanese fabric. I believe this fabric is silk, and it likely originates in the Meiji (1868 - 1912) or Taisho Period (1912 - 1926). It is patterned densely with tangled leaves, vines and flowers. This fabric used to be part of an obi.
The fabric is in very good condition with only one noticeable stain on the largest piece of fabric (which is more prominent on the wrong side of the fabric - barely visible on the right side).
MEASUREMENTS:
Piece #1 - 33.5cm X 124cm (13.19" X 48.82")
Piece #2 - 10cm X 369cm (3.94" X 145.28)
Piece #3 - 11cm X 48.5cm (4.33" X 19.09")
