Rain_Sun_PatternC21

My #clmooc #MayDoodle for #makingarteveryday began as after a response for the Daily Create—to share “Weather and Music.” I shared a poet, John Fogerty, and his family singing “Who’ll Stop the Rain” — “a song for the stormy times of today’s world- “clouds of mystery pourin’ confusion on the ground;” as we are, “trying to find the sun.” I thought it needed a bit of art. :)

It’s another Este Macleod’s #coloricombo and #estemacleodclass for prompt 21 using only the limited colors provided: ocean, melon, petrol blue, parchment

I followed Jennifer Nichol’s Swirly Brush pattern process with studio and technical pen to create two brushes: the raindrop pattern and a sun stamp. Then I added zen doodles to the sun and a reflection on each raindrop with the syrup brush. I also added a couple layers of one of Jen’s repeating texture patterns. #ipardartwithjennifernichols
