798 art zone - Attracted by convenient location, unique style of Bauhaus architecture, many art organizations and artists came to the space formerly occupied by factories and rent the vacant plants and transformed them, gradually formed a district with galleries, art studios, cultural companies, fashion shops etc. As the earliest area where the art organizations and artists moved in is located in the original area of 798 factory, this place was named as Beijing 798 Art Zone.

Von 1940 bis 1942 bestand im Schloss Chenonceau die kuriose Situation, dass die Demarkationslinie zwischen Vichy-Frankreich, der sogenannten „freien Zone“ (französisch „zone libre“), und dem von deutschen Truppen besetzten nördlichen Teil des Landes entlang des Cher und deshalb quer durch das Gebäude verlief. Während der Haupteingang also auf besetztem Gebiet stand, lag der Südausgang der Galerie im freien Teil, sodass das Schloss einen häufig genutzten Fluchtweg darstellte.
Pace University's Opportunity Zones conference brought together influential members of the financial, not-for-profit, and government communities to discuss how targeted investments can be used to support the development of human capital. Guests and panelists included Ruben Diaz Jr., Ryan Silva, Jessica Walker, Maurice A. Jones, Jessica Lappin, and many others.
Villagers take part in a village meeting, including a ceremony in which storage cylinders, funded by the project, are distributed.
