ODC2 - Zig Zag

I didn't like this challenge at all! I thought it was a boring topic..lol I have absolutley NOTHING except for these cupcake cases with a zig zag pattern and i couldn't come up with a clever idea to make a zig zag pattern either. This is heavily cropped so it's a bit noisy.....I wish for something more inspiring tomorrow 8)

My first completed quilt (note - definitely not the first quilt I've started!). I used Crazymomquilt's zigzag pattern and Oh Fransson's binding tutorial - both absolutely fabulous!

First mug rugs I have made - I had fun playing around in making these!

Verrassing ! Dit verloren gewaande werk is na 20 jaar weer gevonden. Toegestuurd uit San Francisco in een klein pakketje, ontvouwde zich op mijn atelier tot een werk van 170 x 200 cm, blauw paardenhaar, als nieuw!

WISDOM of a broken ladder,

tangled knots by your own

bloody hands, dead comedians

put on another mask, then throw

it into the fake fire, ..

ghost towns nibbling on the past

clowns spitting fire, people run

into the past, then jump into

the cold flames, of yesterday.

take your war some where else,

take your guns some where else,

take your bombs some where else,

take your hate some where else,

you heard me,

leave, leave, leave.

Our Daily Challenge 19-25 January : ZigZag

A lovely Beach walk today, and a chance to take photos for this challenge.

This is the long zigzag from West Cliff gardens to the beach. I have seen ladies, who have chosen to be shouted at by fierce trainers, being encouraged to run up there !

There are easier ways to keep fit.

I have made a few cards with this HA background. Here I embossed with white embossing powder then used Distress inks to color.

Zigzag Canyon on Mt. Hood's south side admired by some trailmates. Coming upon this scene for the first time is a glorious moment...until you realize that to keep going you have to descend the 800 feet to the Zigzag River below and then ascend the other side. Such is Mt. Hood's Timberline Trail, up and down, in and out of canyons, zigging and zagging, most of the way around the mountain.

Finished for the Make Mine Modern Swap!

Now partner, I'm not going to show the rest of the surprises I'm packing for you...but I hope you like them!

I have always liked this section of the Little ZigZag River. I like how it rounds the curve and then fans out. The mossy wall on the left is another feature that makes this such a nice spot. You can see by just past 8:00am the sun was reaching high enough to start blowing things out. Thanks for having a look. Double-click to view it large.

ZigZag Court was inspired by more of the 45degree A plates (15706), this time in dark bluish grey. I used them to organise the main parts of the build in a Z pattern, which once again seems to be backwards! Ref: D1580-079

Zigzag, for Our Daily Challenge

- www.kevin-palmer.com - At 10PM I saw a thunderstorm on radar heading my way. So I went outside of town to one of my favorite lightning watching spots. The storm came close enough for a good show, but stayed far enough away that it didn't rain. It didn't last very long before the storm died. But it was nice to see some lightning again for the first time since August.
