As my contact mark_the_mole recently suggested, it looks like the abuse of statues in Darmstadt is becoming a serious problem. Where will it end - even my favourite statue of the crazy man (der Berserker) has started to smoke and drink (perhaps it's because of the current cold spell, who knows what a bronze statue thinks)...

Man sieht die Landschaft Vorarlbergs, eine Reminiszenz an das Museum und ansonsten den Alltag der Roma in Polen.
Małgorzata Mirga-Tas’ Kunst widmet sich den Lebenswelten der Rom*nja-Kultur, in detailreichen, realistischen Darstellungen porträtiert sie alltägliche Szenen – das Rauchen einer Zigarette, das Spielen von Karten oder das Aufhängen von Wäsche. Im Kunsthaus Bregenz zeigt sie zudem Plastiken, die eigens für diese Räume geschaffen wurden. Sie greifen mythische Erzählungen auf und sind zugleich Sinnbilder der gegenwärtigen Conditio humana.
