it's pieced! I used different spoonflower fabrics that I have designed to create this fun zig zag quilt top.
A quick snap of the GLA building in London (designed by Foster and Partners) that I took on our architecture visit to the city.
As always, Zig and Emm doing their thing..brought tears to my eyes to see them carry on as usual..when Zig had the energy.

Each year, the citizens of Santa Cruz do Sul and visitors from the region celebrate Oktoberfest. The city has a large population of German-Brazilians. Thousands turn out each year for the celebration.
This morning I found a zig-zag thing in my room. It is my breakfast XD. Without wasting more time i took some photos of it and adjusted the brightness + contrast using ACD See. And here it is...

My first attempt at a zig zag quilt. I did not intend to have appliqued areas on this quilt when i started it. (um, I also didn't intend for some seams to open up).
My first attempt on Zig Zag road with the Focus Jam2. I rode approx 9 km to there from home mainly using the bike in manual ( no power assist) in an attempt to get it and me ready, work out the best gear to use as I knew it was steep and tough. If nothing else this shows that even with the electric motor assist the rider still needs to know their bike ( better than I do after 2 weeks and 100km only so far) and it helps but is not like a motorbike in any way , it is still a good workout
