I created a zig zag quilt using solely fabrics of my design from spoonflower Barb Raisbeck of Quits by Barb did an incredible job of quilting it - each zig zag is a different design and different colored thread is used throughout.

First of the two tops done, hopefully I will baste this one this weekend and finish the top for the turquise and red quilt.

close-up of fabrics. aren't they gorgeous? this is for a friend's new baby!

For me this will always be my earthquake quilt. Not only because of the jagged lines but because as I was just finishing squaring up the blocks there was a huge earthquake. It is of course inspired by not only the numerous fantastic rainbow quilts out there but the zig zag quilt at cluck cluck sew.

An old Baskin Robbins, I don't know how old it was. But I guess it was so old that it needed to be torn down. This one I did good on, I saw it, said I need to photograph it, and did so. And I think in as little as a week later, they were tearing it down.

Zig Zag creek, located in the Mt. Hood national forest in Oregon, is a beautiful easy trail through untouched old growth forest which follows Zig Zag creek to Little Zig Zag falls. This is a long exposure to create the soft water look on the creek which is surrounded by the rich greens of the old growth forest.

The Zig Zag is a full size, narrow gauge tourist railway located at Clarence, ten km east of Lithgow in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. Built in the 1860s, the line was constructed to transport people and produce from the western plains of NSW to Sydney. It was replaced in 1910 by a 10 tunnel deviation.

Tokyo International Forum, 東京国際フォーラム

Completed in 1996, this futuristic glass atrium was designed by New York architect, Rafael Vinolyl. The building is supported by an innovative truss system, which is shaped in the likes of a ship's hulk. Amazingly, the only structures that hold up the whole building are the two beams on either ends. The walkway in the building slowly winds up from the lower floors to the upper floors and is linked from one side to the other on certain floors.

Tokyo International Forum is a stone's throw away from Yurakucho station, and slightly further than that from Tokyo station, both of which are the main stations in the heart of metropolitan Tokyo.

Is there an easy way in Photoshop to un-bulgify photos like this, where the camera distortion is so brutally obvious?

This is the newest addition to my sewing machine collection. It's a Capitol Deluxe Zig Zag sewing machine, bought originally in 1963 in Flint Michigan. I know that because it came with the original warranty.
