This quilt was inspired by the Purl Bee Wedding Quilt, but I shrunk it down to lap quilt size. The fabric was entirely from my stash, many left over from my Paintbox Quilt.
This was probably the easiest quilt I've ever put together because there were ZERO seams to match up! I highly recommend it for beginners.

We are taking part in this years Skyride Leicester - myself, Son #1 and Daughter #1.
Oh, the irony of the event being sponsored by Sky - the people who attempt to make you sit watching their satellite telly all day.
We cycle from home to Leicester City Centre were a special route has been created by the closure of public roads and the use existing of cycle routes.
At the mass start - which is running late, with an irritating chap attempting to whip the crowd up we decide this isn't for us.
We divert and ride on the closed road route - which has been closed to motorised traffic for hours anyway. The road is ours to do what we want with.
So we do, zig-zagging between the traffic cones towards the Leicester City Football Club stadium.
