One of the often photographed Zig Zag groynes at Hunstanton. Just about the best I could do with the light I had.
I promised pictures of the City Palace. This is the first of several. The charming palace was built four hundred years ago. Its defense was secured by building it on top of a high hill, overlooking the lake below. The corridors and the courtyards were designed in a zig zag manner as to confuse intruders.
My favorite wooden stairs become too rickety and were torn down. Lucky for me, they weren't the only ones in town. HSfS!
Intentional failure to see the big picture
This is a view of the boardwalk through a portion of the marsh at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Michigan.

Our Daily Challenge ~ Lock down Tabletop
After doing some gardening I decided to do a little tabletop photography using the lens ball and some new paper I bought specifically to use with it. I'm not entirely satisfied with the final result but it's getting there.
Still plenty to learn here...
Stay safe and well everyone.
Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. Any comments or Faves are very much appreciated.
A DC leading 925 plus clear skies south of Hampden resulted in a fine evening of train chasing, followed by fish and chips at Waikouaiti after sunset. A superb evening. Thanks for the drive, Mr Wallace, and the heads-up Mr Oakley!

Far up on the Allt Aigeinn, this wonky waterfall is a place you have really want to get to. As with a number of remote Skye waterfalls, it is not the easiest to photograph. This was a precarious perch over a steep drop-off, best vantage I could safely reach.
This waterfall is big, shot as a vertical panorama to get in as much of it as I could with Garbh-bheinn towering above.
