East of Am Bodach the ridge continues in a nice zig-zag all the way to the Devil's Staircase. In 2018 I ascended this way, this time I used this nice and partly pathless ridge walk as my descent route.
New fire escape at Globe Mill Slaithwaite. It’s good to see some money being spent on these old mills to bring them up to date and provide quality work space suitable for the 21st century. So many have been lost in recent years.
Have been meaning to take this shot for weeks having driven past it on a number of occasions. From the road the green zig zag looks fantastic but once on foot i just couldn't get the height i needed to really make it stand out. Anyway this is the best i could manage...

Like many others, I'm looking back and remembering a number of photos I captured in 2018 and here's a photo I took during my trip to Arches National Park in Moab, Utah (USA).
Starting in late February into early March 2019, I will be co-leading two photography workshops with the Utah's infamous photographer Ryan Smith in Arches National Park, Canyonlands, Moab, UT area, eastern Capital Reef & Goblin Valley State Park and then a couple smaller ones by myself.
A few months later, he and I will be conducting our mid-June workshop in Grand Teton National Park in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
I know many of you are already thinking of places to go in 2019 also and I wish you the best of light in your photography during your upcoming travel adventures.

My 2019 photography workshops

Here is a list of the photography workshops I will conduct in 2019:
1. Arches National Park - February 28- March (SOLD OUT)
2. Capital Reef and Goblin Valley State Park (1 opening left)
3. Grand Teton National Park Fall Colors - June 6-9 (SOLD OUT)
All workshops include three Photoshop & Lightroom Milky Way post processing sessions.

I made this quilt using Crazy Mom's pattern: beesquarefabrics.blogspot.ca/2009/03/how-to-make-zig-zag-... except I cut my strips 4" instread of 3". The fabric is Kona Snow and Kona Ash. I stippled it. The quilt went to my niece for a wedding gift.
