Spiel und Spaß in einem ausgetrockneten Bachbett, in dieser Location habe ich schon viele Wasserbilder gemacht. Dieses Jahr ist aber an statt Wasser , Staub und Geröll angesagt.
something mundane for Kristin at Shutter Sisters. Though I fear this photo doesn't necessarily elevate the mundane too far, or at least the beauty is very subtle. :)
So for my Project Food Alphabet I had always planned for Z a Zucchini then at the eleventh hour Ms Red Stilletto suggested Z for Zest and I really loved the idea of the latter. Today I did a pic of both of them and right now both my daughter and I can't decide which should be Z.
I'm asking every one to put in their vote for my last pic of the project...just click fave on whichever one you like more and I'll take the one with the most faves as my final Z.
I've had so much fun shooting this alphabet project and it's made me look at foods as more than foods lately...my daughter has been a real trooper letting me use her dressing table...along the way she was more than happy to suggest her favourite foods like Nutella. And thank you to all of you for leaving lovely and encouraging comments and faves!!!

This Z will no doubt look very familiar. It is the Z for Zara, the successful Spanish clothing retailer that is as popular in Turkey as elsewhere.
Over the past few years more and more foreign businesses have been attracted to Turkey by people's rising zest for consumer choice, and a relatively stable economy. The bad old days of hyper-inflation seem to be behind us. Fingers crossed this will last.
Z is the twenty-ninth and last letter of the Turkish alphabet. The pronunciation is like the English Z.
Here endeth my alphabet project. It's been fun.

Hey, Dad, do you smell that? A skunk crossed this field earlier.
"...I can't smell it."
...Listen!...It's that big woodpecker with the red head.
"...I don't hear it."
...Wow, can you feel that? There's a small earthquake happening right now!
..."I don't feel it."
...Hey, look, these ants are fighting.
"I don't have my glasses with me, Clancy."
Geez, Dad, how can you enjoy yourself out here when your senses are so dull?
"Well, I have sense enough to go for long walks with my enthusiastic dog pal, whom through his heightened zest for life I live vicariously."
...That makes perfect sense!
